BEING comprehensively knocked out of the Wheway Cup by their big rivals came at quite a cost for Bels last night.

With forward Marc Laws already on the sidelines having picked up an injury against Vale Rec last weekend, Ian Champion's side now look as if they could face Moneyfields in the Hampshire Cup on Saturday without their two main strikers, who both limped off at a very wet Northfield.

Neil Le Cheminant left the action in the 44th minute - and less than 10 minutes after the interval he was joined on the bench by AJ Saunders, who picked up a hamstring problem.

It left Bels toothless up front and anxiously awaiting updates ahead of their Hampshire Cup tie.

For North, though, this win was quite a morale booster.

Even without key men Glyn Dyer and Kieran Mahon, they saw off Bels with plenty to spare in the end.
