GUERNSEY ultimately came third in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament after overcoming Malaysia by just two runs in a nail-biter that went down to the last ball at the Singapore Cricket Club on Saturday.

The Sarnians' final position in the table looked unlikely after they lost their first three matches of the tournament against Singapore, Bahrain and Malaysia after which they were fighting for their survival.
But after defeating Norway and Botswana, their place in Division Six was safe.
And there were great scenes after their third and fourth play-off match which saw them get their revenge over the Malaysians.
'What can you say? The boys have been fantastic all week,' said island manager Dave Hearse.
'To come third is a true reflection of their ability, their resolve and their commitment.'
