THE new teams are showing big improvements in the inaugural Indoor Nets League.

For example, the progress being made by Specsavers is impressive with shooters Vicky Atkinson and Tammi Ford finding their range while Elaina Le Tissier is linking well in centre court.

Against the far more experienced Autumn Gold, they fought until the last whistle and never let the opposition relax.

However, Julie Fallaize was in excellent form for AG, scoring with most of her attempts in a 45-16 victory.

Meanwhile, Dark Horses took on the Magnificent 7 and although it was always going to be a tough game for them, they fought hard all the way.

Their defence of Nicky Wrench and Katie Wicks did their best to stem the flow of ball to the shooters, but the crisper play of Mag 7 and less unforced errors were to be the difference in this game, as they ran out 33-16 winners.

Specialists took on Cenkos in a very low scoring game.

Both teams seemed to find it hard to score, but Cenkos had the better court play which gave them more chances at goal.

It was a game played in great spirit and good fun, but Cenkos were never in danger and won 13-4.
