INVESTEC Colombians will inch ever closer to the Investec Men's hockey Division One title if they get the better of Unwantables today.

The yellows are currently way out in front in the league with 22 points to their name and six points ahead of Unwantables, who are in second place.

They meet Unwantables at 3.30pm this afternoon at Foote's Lane and a win would mean time for the Matt Watson side to source some champagne.

'We're getting close, we're not a million miles away now,' said Watson (pictured) yesterday.

'If we win tomorrow, we'd then need another nine points. We are beginning to feel that we are getting close to where we need to be, but if we lose tomorrow if will open it up again.

'They will get within five points.'

Colombians are close to full strength for this crucial fixture. They are only missing the injured Jan Collins.
