'This doesn't mean it's a closed shop,' he said.

'There's still a number of players that we're keeping an eye on should we feel we want to bring them in.'

The Brighton-based Sussex coach recently took over the reins from Dave Hearse, who moved upstairs to become head of selectors.

The Greens go into 2010 on the back of a very successful 2009 that saw them promoted from World Cricket League Division Seven and then hold their place in Division Six after a very testing tournament in Singapore in early September.

He has named the squad that performed so well at Division Six.

However, Jamie Nussbaumer, Ben Ferbrache and the Warr brothers, Jonny and James, are all off the island for the next few months and will not be able to attend the sessions.
