BLUE ISLANDS has withdrawn an application to fly to Bristol because it was not initially prepared to share financial information with Commerce and Employment.
BLUE ISLANDS has withdrawn an application to fly to Bristol because it was not initially prepared to share financial information with Commerce and Employment.
The application has now formally been dismissed – but the airline will reapply.
Airline chairman Derek Coates (pictured) said: 'The danger of course is it's an unfortunate rejection on behalf of the travellers to Guernsey from Bristol.
'Now there's not the opportunity for evening flights.
'The reason for our rejection is that we were unwilling to give confidential information. But we have now decided to produce that and will now be reapplying with full information.'
