REMEMBER the name Charles 'The Cat' Hoy.

On first impressions, there was not much to him – a blonde haired, 19-year-old east London lad, who at most must have been 5ft 3in.

But boy could he box.

Just ask Bradley Watson, who lost on points to Hoy in the top-of-the-bill bout of Friday's night Dinner Boxing Show at St Pierre Park Hotel as Guernsey took on the North East Division of London.

Hoy has boxed for England and has aspirations of turning professional.

On this showing, there is no reason why he cannot make it.

But on the plus side for Watson, who has been spotted for the selection to the Great Britain team and has professional dreams himself, he surely will not come up against as good a boxer as Hoy when he goes to the ABA Western Counties Championship in Devonport next week.
