THE island must broaden its portfolio of industries and the planned Guernsey Technology Park will help, says the man responsible for attracting e-commerce companies to the Bailiwick.
Director of e-commerce development for the States of Alderney Robin Le Prevost said the £250m. technology park would be a 'fabulous' addition.
Mr Le Prevost (pictured) promotes Alderney as a jurisdiction for the regulation and licensing of e-gaming operators.
'Companies coming to the island are licensed and regulated in Alderney but based in Guernsey for operational and technical reasons,' he said.
Sportingbet is one such company and Mr Le Prevost said the development at Saltpans would help satisfy the increasing demand for high-quality premises.
