NORTH have confirmed that the GFA have fined them £200 for failing to control their supporters after the Grand Fort Road derby match at Vale Rec in February.

Tempers were raised both on and off the pitch when Rec's James Coquelin brought down young North midfielder Scott Bougourd heavily in front of the main stand in the dying moments of the game.

Bougourd (pictured) was subsequently ruled out for the rest of the season with a bad ankle injury.

The GFA's media officer, James Falla said: 'The GFA doesn't wish to comment on the fine as we don't generally comment on disciplinary cases.'
