THE talent on their books suggests ORs should be challenging for CI League honours.

However, it was the difficulty in getting that talent together on the field as a unit that held them back in their inaugural season, which proved to be a disappointment.

They finished the CI League second from bottom and the lowest-placed Guernsey club as they registered just two wins from eight completed games.

But skipper Stuart Bisson knows that, potentially, he has the makings of a decent outfit at his disposal.

Any captain in local cricket would be happy to be able to call upon the all-round abilities of Lee Savident and Tim Duke while former island batsmen Andy Biggins, Mark Clapham and Mark Jefferies are all capable of big scores.
