PLEINMONT was the venue for the first round of the 2010 Holeshot-sponsored Guernsey Velo Club Downhill Mountain Bike Series.

The course started in fields above Portelet bay and descended through the woods passing Trinity cottages on the way to the bottom.
It has been used in the Velo Club's downhill calendar for a number of years now and is a favourite of some of the riders.
It consists of a fast 'pedally' open-field section to start before crossing the road into the woods where it gets tight and twisty through the trees.
For the last part of the course the speed picks up again with a fast single track down the last descent, an off-camber section and small drop to the extended finish line for this year.
