CHIEF MINISTER Lyndon Trott has welcomed the news that Guernsey will be able to choose its next Lt-Governor.
Recruitment for the post began yesterday with advertisements appearing in The Times and Deputy Trott (pictured) was glad the island would have its say.
'I am very pleased, as are all members of the Policy Council, that the three Crown Dependencies are being given this opportunity,' he said.

The advertisment will be repeated in the Sunday Times.
