Frith gets a kick out of Emerging Players' progress

JEREMY FRITH'S Emerging Players side continue to demonstrate that when it comes to cricket development there is much to be admired about the local game.

The 33-run win over Jersey's Sporting Club Francais side was their third Channel Islands League win in four outings this season and Frith is getting as much of a kick out of the kids' performances as he does from his own.

As usual, that is a quite handy effort, although at the College Field on Saturday it was with the ball as opposed to the bat.

For the youngsters to win again when Frith failed to make a telling score is to their credit and the win certainly delighted the captain.
