Guernsey almost there

Mathematically, it is still possible for Germany to come out on top of the ICC European Division Two Championship this evening, but it would require them to win and Guernsey to lose by a huge margin to Norway.

The way the hosts have approached this tournament, though, that all seems highly unlikely.

France looked set to provide the sternest test of the Sarnians' credentials so far at Port Soif on Saturday, but in the end it turned into another comfortable victory for the Greens.
