Cobo wrap up title

COBO TIGERS are the inaugural Elite Twenty20 champions after a routing victory over Wanderers last night.

Knowing a win would secure the title, Cobo set about their task well, bowling first and restricting their opponents to 38 for one from their first nine overs, Blane Queripel the sole wicket to fall when he was run out for 16.

Despite the next over being more impressive, with 14 coming from it, Cobo brilliantly applied the brakes again.
