Although the visitors to the KGV were an impressive outfit, Guernsey will be disappointed they let the run chase get on top of them and ultimately left themselves with too much to do.
After Buckinghamshire won the toss and decided to bat, they amassed a competitive 190 from their 45 overs, the whole team contributing with the runs.
The pick of the bowlers was spinner Luke Le Tissier, who picked up two wickets.
