LADIES' College students were able to get off to an early start yesterday when results were issued to the school in digital form for the first time.
It meant that the first students were able to collect their envelopes at 8.30am rather than the traditional 10am.
Laura Bampton, 15 (pictured), achieved a 100% record, gaining 12 A* results. 'I'm very pleased and it's good to know that hard work paid off,' she said.
A total of 16 Ladies' College pupils – about 22% – gained 10 or more passes at A* or A grade.
Three Elizabeth College students also hit the heights, gaining A*s in all 12 subjects that they sat.
Adam Goddard, Tony Paluch and Jack Heywood, all 16, were part of a year group that achieved a 100% pass rate with A* to C grades in each of the compulsory core areas – English, maths and science.
GCSE Results from every secondary school are covered in a four-page special in the Guernsey Press.
