GUERNSEY are out to end Jersey's long run of victories in the junior inter-insular Challenge Trophy this weekend.

The Caesareans have dominated the event since the turn of the millennium, but Guernsey Junior Golf Club president Bill Le Huray emphasised that he 'cannot wait' for the chance to take on the old rivals once again.

'It seems to have been a long time in coming, but I am really looking forward to it and I hope the players are too,' he said.

The match sees a slight change in format this year with the sides being made up of 10 players who will all get their chance to play the foursomes, four-balls and singles format.
