Le Tissier's son puts the icing on the cake

CARL LE TISSIER was having a good day.

His Vale Rec side played, by his estimation, their best 45 minutes in more than a year, his eldest son came off the bench to score Vale's fourth and to cap it all his beloved Leeds won.

And Tics did their best to ensure the Vale boss had one of those very satisfying days with a first-half defensive performance which was probably their worst since a disastrous hammering by St Martin's on the same KGV pitch a year ago.

'It was an excellent team performance,' enthused Le Tissier who saw his side win the game on the back of three first-half goals.
