Sergeant James Priest (pictured), who was working in Alderney, was suspended in April for a non-criminal matter.
It followed a complaint made by a member of the public.
DCI Peter Dowding confirmed yesterday that a Guernsey police officer had appeared before a misconduct tribunal to answer five allegations of breaching the code.
'Having carefully examined all the evidence, the tribunal found the case proved on all charges,' he said.
