Payne masters new Petit Bot course
JERSEY resident Rich Payne retained his crown in the Guernsey Velo Club's annual Downhill Championships at Petit Bot.

JERSEY resident Rich Payne retained his crown in the Guernsey Velo Club's annual Downhill Championships at Petit Bot.
The course, which was new to the series, has taken about two years to create with work being carried out on and off over that period to create what a lot of people have said to be the best downhill track in Guernsey, possibly the Channel Islands.
It starts high up the valley with some tight corners in the trees then goes over a drop into a section filled with hip jumps, step downs and berms.
This leads to the course's main feature, a steep, twisty, root-infested down slope that caught out a lot of the riders.
