Langlois overcomes Ogier once again
OLLY LANGLOIS claimed his second consecutive senior open tournament victory of the season by defeating Phil Ogier in the final of the Spot for Sport Open Singles.
OLLY LANGLOIS claimed his second consecutive senior open tournament victory of the season by defeating Phil Ogier in the final of the Spot for Sport Open Singles.
Langlois' (pictured) route to the final was fairly comfortable and he started by navigating his way through his group as winner, dropping just the single game to Lawrence Stacey in the process.
Ogier was equally comfortable in the group stages and won through to the knockout stages of the competition without dropping a leg.
In the first knockout round, Langlois produced an effortless display of attacking table tennis to dispatch Neil Hastie in straight games.
