THE next major step in James McLaughlin's blossoming cycling career could be taken in the next few weeks.
Guernsey's young Commonwealth Games star (pictured) is heavily preparing and focusing on next season and he hopes to have a race team sorted shortly.
Although nothing has been finalised as of yet, he admitted that it was vital to continue to test himself against the best opposition possible.
'The best way for me to improve is to ideally race in either the UK or France,' he said.
