Former Hampshire county player Lee Savident is better known opening the batting and bowling for Guernsey in the summer months, but he was this season's Most Valuable Player in the first division indoors.
He captained Appleby 8's to the title on Grand Finals day and he also works at the Indoor Cricket Centre.
While the sport is still relatively new to Guernsey shores, Savident believes that getting rid of some perceptions might encourage even more to take up the game.
