Loveridge to again help men's cause

THE selectors have named an unchanged side as the Guernsey men's first team, plus the feminine touch of Alice Loveridge, travel this weekend hoping to boost their British League promotion hopes.

THE table tennis selectors have named an unchanged side as the Guernsey men's first team, plus the feminine touch of Alice Loveridge, travel this weekend hoping to boost their British League promotion hopes.

The Sportingbet Guernsey first team lie fourth in Division 1 South & Midlands after the opening weekend's matches back in September and the team of Garry Dodd, Alice Loveridge, Olly Langlois and Phil Ogier will all be hopeful of putting in good performances over the duration of the weekend.

Dodd, Loveridge and Langlois all competed in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and each has displayed good form both locally and nationally since.

Having already competed against the best teams in the division once, the Sportingbet side now face teams who sit below them in the table for their opening three encounters this time around.
