Herm chapel out of action for Christmas due to repair work
SERVICES at St Tugual's Chapel in Herm have been put on hold while it undergoes major renovation.

The 11th century building is being re-roofed, having its external render replaced, being repointed internally and externally, the masonry vault redecorated and new guttering and drainage installed.
Work began last month and is expected to be completed by the end of March.
'Unfortunately, we have had to cancel all our chapel services, including the carol and Christmas services,' said Herm's technical director Simon George.
