Bill Le Huray (pictured), president of the Guernsey Junior Golf Club, waxed lyrical about youngsters James Hamon, 15, Abigail Howard, 15, and Aimee Ponte, 14, who will all be part of the team travelling to the Isle of Wight next June.
'From a junior point of view I'm delighted,' said Le Huray.
'It shows Guernsey golf is going in the right direction if our juniors are considered good enough.'
