THE Guernsey Bicycle Group's fears about the future of the cycling proficiency test have been allayed - for now.
Group chairman Francis Paul was concerned about what would happen to it following the retirement of schools liaison officer PC Mick Chart.
But the problem seems to have been a breakdown in communication because there is another officer lined up to take his place.
Mr Paul said the group had not been told what would happen to the test, but an email from the police had made him much happier.
