College win despite loss of Clark to England squad

ELIZABETH COLLEGE continue to impress as they recorded a victory over the in-form Clubhouse Casuals last weekend.
The school hockey side grabbed a last-minute equaliser against league leaders Colombians on their previous outing and they followed it up with a 2-1 win over Casuals despite missing regular striker Will Dovey and central midfielder and on-field leader, Adam Clark.
The elder of the two Clark brothers in the College team was away training with the England Under 18 squad ahead of a four nations tournament at Easter and the European Championships in the summer, but his teammates back in Guernsey did not let him down.
College started on the front foot and had three or four good chances before taking the lead.
