Ways of improving work experience are discussed
WAYS to further enhance the work experience programme were discussed at the first Guernsey Work Experience Review workshop.

The event, attended by around 30 employers and teachers, looked at ways in which the current format could be improved, but also the areas which already worked well.
Guernsey Work Experience manager Michele Clark said the local body was now working towards UK guideline Quality Standards for Work Experience and was holding the workshop to evaluate the current set-up.
'We meet most of the targets already so today is about getting ideas on how we can meet all of them.'
