Loveridge twice beats Olympic rival Vickers
ALICE LOVERIDGE has produced another strong Grand Prix showing.

At the Doncaster Grand Prix, which is part of the English Table Tennis Association circuit, the 16-year-old (pictured) finished runner-up in the women's Band 1 singles, reaching the semi-finals of the women's open where she lost out to the number one seed and won the under-21 singles title.
These grand prix events are intense weekends with most of the top players in the nation competing and a few useful overseas competitors for good measure.
It all makes for a very busy couple of days where there are a lot of games to play and each event has a qualification group of four.
