Hotel Bon Port to open again

THE Hotel Bon Port should be open again by the beginning of March.

The St Martin's hotel was bought by mother and daughter Vivien and Alison Haynes for £1.73m. at the end of last year.

Shaun McDonald (pictured), who was general manager of the hotel before it went into administration in April last year, is now running the establishment on a two-year lease.

He said he was looking forward to getting the hotel ready for guests and was pleased that rumours about its future could now be put to bed.
