ISLANDERS are still in the dark about potential changes to university fees.

At yesterday's higher education fair at the Grammar School hall, university ambassadors were on hand to give students wishing to enrol more information about what was on offer.

Next year the Channel Islands' agreement with Universities UK, which determines the rate the UK charges local students, runs out.

But Education minister Carol Steere (pictured) said it was too soon to speculate how a new deal would impact local students.
