A DECISION to suspend Flybe's licence to run a Guernsey to Manchester service has deprived 11,000 passengers from having a choice of operator, the airline said yesterday.
But Aurigny reacted to the news by insisting that the route did not generate enough passengers to sustain competition.
The Commerce and Employment Department announced that it had suspended Flybe's licence after reviewing all Guernsey's air transport links.
Flybe said it would appeal against the decision and was taking legal advice.
