The 18-year-old yesterday reached the quarter-finals of the Bahamas Women's Open in Nassau with a second victory over a world top 100 player in as many days.
The Sarnian, ranked 132nd, beat world No. 99 Alberta Brianti of Italy 6-1, 6-1 to set up a last-eight meeting with the fourth seed Rebecca Marino today.
Canadian Marino is 63rd in the current world list.
