Following an initial discovery when a drainage soakaway was dug as part of restoration work on St Tugual's Chapel in the manor garden, a pit of bodies has now been found.
The bones of an adult and a child were originally discovered with around five other skeletons under the lawn but about 24 have now been uncovered.
