TWO goals down with less than 25 minutes to play at Foote's Lane and the island's top men's club side looked destined to lose the Division One cup final.
But just as the light blues of Cambridge dropped off the pace in the university boat race, Guernsey hockey's light blues faltered after getting themselves into a winning position.
For a short while even Matt Watson, the Colombians skipper and main man, was worried with his team's position, although not at all surprised.
'We always knew it was going to be a tough game. For whatever reason, we find Unwantables pretty difficult to play against,' he said.
