The hosts are confident of doing so, too, but they know that old rivals Jersey will provide tough opposition.
That said, Guernsey men's player-coach Andy Whalley (pictured) will hope his side retain their trophy with a bit more to spare this time around.
A year ago, the Sarnians beat their Jersey counterparts in thrilling fashion, scoring from a short corner after the allotted time to seal a 3-2 success.
