A DRUG addict who robbed a teenage girl to fund his habit was jailed for two years by the Royal Court.

A DRUG addict who robbed a teenage girl to fund his habit was jailed for two years by the Royal Court.

Matthew Ward, 30, was sentenced to a further six months consecutive for importing mephedrone without an import licence.

It is now listed as a Class C drug but was not yet classified at the time.

Judge Russell Finch said the defendant's guilty plea to the drug offence had been inevitable and the one to robbery had been entered late.
