STUART LE NOURY (pictured) was too fast for the defending champion, his brother Jason, in the two miles Bedell Cristin sponsored Eric Waldron race.
The brothers were together for the first two of eight laps before Stuart started pulling away.
By the one-mile point he had a lead of seven seconds as he went through the halfway in 7min. 37sec.
Third walker Phil Lockwood was well down in 8-20.
