RESIDENTS in a narrow lane in St Martin's have warned of traffic and litter problems after a planning application was made for a bring bank at Raymond Falla House.

Public Services wants to create a temporary site at Longue Rue, also known as Burnt Lane.

But a department spokesman said the application was a back-up plan in case a permanent site cannot be found.

The bring banks have been at St Martin's Garage since October when they were moved from the Manor Stores site because Sandpiper needed the land for parking for the new Iceland store.

They will remain at the garage for the next six months.
