BLUE Islands' 25 ground staff in Guernsey will lose their jobs with the airline after it decided to outsource that part of its operation.

BLUE Islands' 25 ground staff in Guernsey will lose their jobs with the airline after it decided to outsource that part of its operation.
It held talks yesterday with those affected, as well as 14 people in Jersey.
Check-in and baggage handling staff have until 25 May to decide if they want to accept new contracts offered with Airbase Flight Support in Guernsey and Servisair in Jersey.
One to one meetings with staff are being organised.
