Newlyn skipper: 'We will bring Liam's body home'

ALDERNEY fisherman Liam Guille had a bright future, according to his former skipper.

Mark Rowse, who operates four vessels from Newlyn Harbour, Cornwall, said Liam's death had shocked and saddened the local fishing community.

The 17-year-old's body was recovered from the harbour by police divers on Tuesday of last week. He was last seen in the harbour area just before midnight on Sunday 15 May.

Mr Rowse described Liam (pictured) as 'one of the good ones'.

'Everyone is gutted,' said Mr Rowse. 'Liam was 100% loyal and a really nice lad. There are good ones and bad ones and he was one of the good ones.'
