ONE of Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich's superyachts anchored off Guernsey yesterday.
The 78-metre Titan arrived at 9am but was unable to dock in St Peter Port because the only berths big enough were in use by Condor vessels needing the ro-ro ramps.
'We didn't have a spare berth suitable for it to lie alongside for the period that they wanted,' said harbour master Captain Peter Gill.
While it is not uncommon for large vessels belonging to high profile individuals to call in, Captain Gill admitted it was a point of interest for islanders.
