CENKOS CENTURIONS proved they are the side to beat after their second

straight comprehensive victory of the opening weekend over BDO on Saturday

evening.

Despite batting first on a pitch that was lower and slower than earlier in

the day, BDO's 125 for nine from their 20 overs was still never likely to be

enough.

And it did prove far too few as Cenkos, inspired by captain Jeremy Frith's

66, cruised through with an over to spare, Kris Moherndl (pictured) and professional

Shaun Udal also excelling.

In fairness, BDO's problems would have been exasperated had it not been for

the intervention of skipper Stuart Le Prevost, with a fine 69 from 51 balls.
