Gale-force winds join the list of Condor problems

Condor Rapide's gearbox was fixed yesterday after two weeks of disruption. But the Vitesse is still running on just three of its four engines due to a problem with a main engine bearing.
A Condor spokesman said the Vitesse should be fixed by tomorrow. That, combined with the poor weather, has meant this afternoon's Weymouth sailing has been cancelled to allow for the last repairs to be completed. Passengers have been transferred to the earlier Poole sailing. Due to this, all today's Weymouth day-return passengers have seen their trips cancelled.
The Vitesse repair also meant yesterday's 4.30pm sailing from Weymouth was cancelled and passengers were transferred to the 2.10pm sailing from Poole.
