He won gold this evening in 14.96sec., the only finalist to break the 15sec. barrier at the Fairway athletics track.
Unfortunately, Kylie Robilliard failed to finish the women's 100m hurdles final, despite leading at one stage, as she attempted to add to her 100m flat gold medal of Monday.
Meanwhile, this evening's swimming finals programme finished with Guernsey claiming three more silver medals - one each for Kristina Neves (200m IM) and Tom Hollingworth (200m free) as well as one in the men's 4x50m freestyle relay – and a bronze in the women's 4x50m medley.
Elsewhere, there will be an all-Guernsey women's badminton doubles final after the pairings of Gayle Lloyd/Kiara Green and Sarah Garbutt/Renee Stuart won their semi-finals.
ANOTHER Island Games record has fallen to Kristina Neves as she has won gold in the women's 50m butterfly.
The teenager clocked 28.88sec. to cut 0.1sec. off the previous record set in 2003 by Jersey's Natalie Bree.
It is Neves' fourth individual gold in her debut Games.
IAN POWELL has broken the men's 100m butterfly record to win gold at the Island Games.
The 25-year-old Guernseyman touched in 54.05sec. at the Medina Leisure Centre to pip his teammate Tom Hollingsworth, who clocked 54.85, to the victory.
Meanwhile, Victoria Parfit has taken bronze in the 200m women's breaststroke in 2-39.35.
GUERNSEY swimming starlet Kristina Neves has smashed the Island Games women's 800m freestyle record to win gold.
The 14-year-old slashed more than 10 seconds off the previous mark with a swim of 8min. 47.98sec. at the Medina Leisure Centre in the Isle of Wight.
It is her third individual gold of these Games.
GUERNSEY'S own British champion shooter Tara Laine has added a NatWest Island Games gold to her CV.
The Sarnian has won the 10m women's air pistol event with a total of 467.9, ahead of Jersey star Mary Norman in silver position on 463.9.
GUERNSEY'S cyclists have added to their medal tally in the women's road race, although the colour of one of the medals has yet to be confirmed.
The Sarnian team have claimed silver behind Jersey on the South Wight circuit, while Ann Bowditch finished third individually, although a protest has been lodged which may see her position improved.
Meanwhile, the Guernsey football team have beaten the Isle of Man 2-1 to progress through to Thursday's semi-finals.
RHODES football team have been thrown out of the NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Wight and banned from both the 2013 and 2015 Games.
The International Island Games Association Executive have taken such action after Monday's match between Jersey and Rhodes saw two Rhodes players sent off and an incident in the tunnel between a Rhodes player and the fourth official.
An IIGA statement said that the events 'were of such severity and in breach of recognised codes of conduct' that it had been decided to impose an on-going Games suspensoin on the player involved in the incident with the fourth official, an immediate suspension from the current football competition and the two following Games for the Rhodes men's football team and tonight's scheduled match between Rhodes and Menorca to be cancelled.
GUERNSEY have won their first gold of the day and 15th in total at the NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Wight.
The Sarnian table tennis team lived up to their billing as favourites for the competition as they beat Gotland 4-0 in this morning's final in Ryde.
Olly Langlois, Garry Dodd and Alice Loveridge all won their opening singles rubbers while Loveridge joined forces with Dawn Morgan to win the women's doubles.
