It came in the always thrilling 4x400m relay and it takes him onto 13 for his career.
It put the finishing touches to a brilliant week in which the athletics team contributed eight golds, three of them coming on the final day.
Louise Perrio started the ball rolling with victory in the 5,000m to complete the 5-10k double she was aiming for.
