A DOG owner who thought her pet had plunged off a south coast cliff was relieved to find her safe after she had apparently clambered her way back up.

Ambulance and Rescue's cliff rescue team was called to Les Tielles just after 10am yesterday after reports that a black Labrador had fallen down the cliff.
Housewife Laura Alexander, 40, said she had been out running with five-year-old black Labrador Trinity and two-year-old collie-cross Lola.
'I'd turned my back on them for five seconds and when I looked round Trinity had just disappeared,' she said.
