A copy of Digital Parenting magazine from Airtel-Vodafone has been sent home with pupils in the year group at all States schools.
It covers aspects of phone and internet safety, including setting up safe searches, dealing with inappropriate content, and creating controls via modems and home computers.
Airtel-Vodafone vice president Ian Campbell said parents were under a lot of pressure to allow their children access to the internet and mobiles. The magazine aimed to help them make sure their children were safe online.
